Conditions tap water for safe use in aquariums. Neutralises chlorine and chloramine and reduces stress on fish when moved or handled. Modern town tap water may contain chemical substances which could cause harm to fish in an aquarium. Chlorine, chloramine and metals such as lead, aluminium, copper and zinc can all cause problems to fish. Aquasure safely removes these potential problems and also adds a protective colloid to the water which can help to prevent damage to the skin and scales of the fish and to stimulate the natural mucus produced by the fish. SLUDGE REMOVER AND ALGAE CONTROL. A powerful enzyme and bacterial powder, based on barley straw, which digests waste and controls algae and blanket weed in the aquarium. All aquariums have to deal with the problem of a build up of sludge which is made up of faeces, uneaten food and algal growth. The more sludge there is in the aquarium, the more green algae and blanket weed will grow. In addition, the water will contain dissolved organic material which will feed the algae. Clean-Up contains enzymes and bacteria specially designed to destroy both sludge and algae and, if used regularly, will help to keep the aquarium water crystal clear and free from algal growth and to reduce the number of water changes you would otherwise need to do. Dosage - 1 spoonful to 125 (maximum) litres of aquarium water once a week. 25 gm pack will treat 1000 litres.
NT Labs DISEASOLVE 100ml General Aquarium Antiseptic.
A general antiseptic treatment for aquarium fish and for live food. Diseasolve is a gentle but effective general aquarium antiseptic treatment for use when fish are suffering from undiagnosed problems which could be parasitic or bacterial. Diseasolve is a very safe treatment which can be used frequently if required. The water becomes emerald green and can be maintained at this colour until the fish have recovered. If in doubt, use Diseasolve first. Diseasolve can also be used to cleanse and disinfect live foods such as tubifex worms. Just soak the food in a little diluted Diseasolve for 5 minutes before feeding to your fish. Dosage - 10ml to 10 litres of water. 100ml pack will treat 100 litres.
NT Labs ICHCIDE 100ml Parasite & Fungus Treatment.
For control of parasites such as White Spot, Trichodina, Costia and Fungus. Use every other day over one week as a full course of treatment. Free-swimming parasites such as White Spot (“Ich”), Trichodina and Costia can cause a lot of damage to fish in an aquarium. Sometimes the damaged skin of the fish becomes infected with the fungus Saprolegnia. All these parasites cause intense irritation to the fish causing them to scratch against sedentary objects in the tank, flick and thrash around as they attempt to scratch the irritation. Ichcide is a gentle but very effective treatment which deals with both the parasitic and fungal problems. By adding Ichcide every other day as a course of treatment, you can be sure of eliminating all the stages of the parasites thus ensuring that there is no relapse of the infection. Dosage - 10ml to 60 litres of water. 100ml pack will treat 600 litres/ 4 x 150ml.
